This Policy describes how MARCON collects, uses and shares your personal information when you use the Service.
What we collect
- Account information: name, email, date of birth, password hash.
- Profile information you provide: bio, avatar, links, business details.
- Transactional information: bookings, postings, messages, reviews.
- Payment information: handled by our payment provider; we store a limited reference (customer id, last-4 of card) and never store full card numbers.
- Technical data: IP address, device, log data, cookies used to keep you signed in.
How we use it
- To provide, secure and improve the Service.
- To process payments and issue payouts.
- To communicate with you about your account, bookings and safety.
- To detect fraud and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We share personal information with service providers who help us operate MARCON (hosting, payments, email), with other users to the extent required to complete a booking, and where required by law.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your information from your Account settings. To exercise other rights (including under GDPR/CCPA where applicable), email privacy@marcon.life.
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active, and afterwards as needed to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Financial records may be retained for up to 7 years.
Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children
MARCON is not intended for anyone under 18.
